Morten Storm first met Ikirma in 2008.
The CIA got Morten Storm to give money and equipment to al-Shabaab.

While working for the CIA, Storm met Ikrema at a restaurant in Nairobi in Kenya, in order to arrange the transfer of equipment to al Shabaab.
In 2012, Storm 'left the CIA due to a disagreement over a mission'.
Storm is now acting as 'a whistleblower'.
He believes that he could have helped capture or kill Ikirma.
Ikirma was only a lowly messenger when when Storm first met him.
Storm says Ikrima became the top handler of foreign fighters operating in Somalia, Kenya, Yemen, and the West.
One of Ikrima's former associates told CNN that Ikrima was the 'main link' between Somalia and the Kenyan-based militant group Al Hijra.
Last week, Ikrima mysteriously escaped during the U.S.Navy SEAL operation in Somalia.

He speaks Norwegian, Swahili, Arabic, Somali, and English.

This is the horrifying moment one of the terrorists in the Kenyan shopping centre attack levelled his gun at cowering hostages, ready to execute them.
The attacker, wearing a camouflage jacket and facemask, points a handgun at customers in a bank as they lie under a counter with their hands around their heads.
The CCTV pictures were taken inside the Diamond Trust Bank on the ground floor of the Westgate shopping mall in the early stages of the hostage crisis.

"Also pulling out at the same time was a small group of policemen from various units and armed civilians, who were the first to enter the mall from the rooftop parking and the front entrance and led hundreds of shoppers to safety."
