ON WHOSE SIDE IS THE CIA IN THAILAND?

Obama and Yingluck Shinawatra, prime minister of Thailand since 2011.

Currently, in February 2014, Thailand's Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is under attack by protesters.

In Thailand it has been the Red Shirts (supporters of the Shinawatra family) against the Yellow Shirts (traditionalists).

The big question is - does the CIA support the Red Shirts or the Yellow Shirts?

Bloggers are divided on this issue.

The CIA is likely to support whichever party is seen as being more pro-Globalist and more anti-China.

Perhaps the CIA backs both sides in order to cause chaos.

Yingluck Shinawatra and family. Are her Red Shirts pro-Globalist and anti-China?

In 2010, the Thai army put down violent protests in Bangkok.

The 'Red Shirts', said to be supported by the CIA, were temporarily defeated.

Thaksin Shinawatra, ousted in 2006.

The 'Red Shirts' are supporters of the billionaire Thaksin Shinawatra, who is said to be the candidate of 'the Globalists'.

Thaksin was prime minister of Thailand until ousted in an army coup in 2006.

Thaksin helped the poor, killed off certain drugs dealers, but was accused of involvement in corruption and 'extra-judicial killings'.

Currently, in February 2014, Thailand's Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra (above) is under attack by protesters.

Wayne Madsen believes that the CIA wants to topple the 'pro-China' Yingluck Shinawatra.

According to Wayne Madsen:

"The pro-royalist revolt against the government of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is not only aimed at dislodging from power an influential and wealthy Thai-Chinese family, the Shinawatras, but sending a message to China that a firmly pro-U.S. Thailand will serve the same function on China’s southern border as Ukraine will serve on Russia’s.

"The patron of the Shinawatra family is Seng Sae Khu, a Hakka Chinese immigrant to Thailand, whose son changed the family name to Shinawatra.

"Seng Sae Khu’s descendants, including exiled former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, the brother of the current prime minister, and former commander of the Thai army Chaiyasit Shinawatra, have incurred the wrath of nationalistic right-wing Thais who see China, not America, as a threat to the country.

"The CIA, using the same playbook it used after its 1965 coup d’etat against President Sukarno of Indonesia in 1965 - an anti-Communist and anti-Chinese pogrom that resulted in one million deaths - is trying to stoke anti-Chinese and anti-Shinawatra sentiment in Thailand through mass street protests aimed at toppling the Yingluck government."

Thaksin and rival Abhisit

Back in July 2011, Thailand held elections and Yingluck Shinawatra came to power, having defeated Abhisit Vejjajiva.

Yingluck Shinawatra's brother, Thaksin, is said to be the power behind Yingluck.

Thaksin currently lives in a luxury villa in Dubai.

His political party, led by his sister, is called and Pheu Thai.

(Thaksin's last stand ) (Thailand's "red shirt villages").

Yingluck, Thaksin's sister.

Reportedly, Thaksin was behind the violent demonstrations and arson attacks in Bangkok in 2010.

Mysterious black-clad gunmen were said to be linked to the 'red shirts'.

Thaksin is opposed by much of the Thai military, by 'old money and by the traditionalist, nationalist 'yellow shirts'.

Thaksin made his fortune in telecommunications.

His main support comes from the rural poor.

While prime minister, Thaksin's policies included virtually free healthcare and low-interest loans to villages.

Thaksin's party promised an increase in the minimum wage well above 25%.

The Thai King

Did the CIA turn against the 'establishment' in Thailand, and back the Shinawatras, partly because the Thai government was seen as being too friendly with China, and not sufficiently 'globalist'?

The globalists are backing Thailand's "red" color revolutions and its leader Thaksin Shinawatra.

Did the folks at the CIA (the Globalists) put Thaksin Shinawatra into power?

From landestroyer.blogspot (Warning Signs Over Old Siam):

"Thaksin Shinawatra ... after a promising first term in office, began criminally consolidating power and wealth...

"Throughout the red shirts' publications ... themes include insinuated threats aimed at the monarchy and more recently, calls to emulate uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt, and perhaps most alarmingly, comparisons made between ousting Qaddafi in Libya and Thailand's current prime minster.

"Considering that each one of these nations amongst the 'Arab Spring' are textbook examples of foreign funded subversion, it is telling and troubling indeed that Thailand's red shirts are standing in open solidarity with them.

"Red shirt propaganda can be found online as well, including on the National Endowment for Democracy funded Prachatai website...

"Regarding Thailand's strategic importance to China, it possesses the narrow Kra Isthmus that China would like to develop into a Suez/Panama Canal-like project to shorten trips for its oil laden, China-bound tankers.

"Thailand also serves as an overland conduit, running north and south with a developed rail system connecting Singapore's shipping yards to Laos' capital of Vientiane.

"China has begun the development of a rail system through Laos and the joint upgrading of Thailand's rail system.

"Thailand also is one of the world's largest rice exporters, which makes the nation vital to China's future growth and food security."

Thailand means smiling Buddhist people, various mafias running sex tourism and a struggle between the US and China for influence.

In Bangkok and in Pattaya in Thailand, 'Al Qaeda' operatives often meet with their CIA and MI6 'liaisons'.

For many tourists, Thailand means prostitution.

The "Mai Travel" hotel in Pattaya, in Thailand, accommodates almost exclusively Israeli sex tourists.
