Gordon Hahn of the Center of International Strategy says that a possible perpetrator of the Volgograd attack is "a former Russian soldier by the name of Pavel Kosolapov and he is from Volgograd.
"He was involved in a train bombing back in 2007 and suspected of several other bombings."

President Vladimir Putin has closed down Russia's main state news agency, RIA Novosti.
He has replaced it with a new agency to be known as Russia Today (which is separate from RT)
Kiselyov, an expert on the Ukraine, home to Azov films.
This will be run by Dmitry Kiselyov, a 'conservative', who has suggested that foreign conspiracies are threatening Russia.
Kiselyov has described the current protests in Ukraine as a plot by a coalition of Sweden, Poland and Lithuania.

Vladimir Putin meets me in the VIP room at the Shotlandskaya Kletka restaurant in Moscow.
Before we order our food, I ask Putin about Syria's offer to hand over its chemical weapons.
"In 2002," says Putin, "Saddam Hussein allowed the weapons inspectors to carry out a thorough inspection.
"The inspectors found no evidence of weapons of mass destruction. But Bush went ahead with his invasion anyway.
"It may be the same this time with Syria," continues Putin,"but, on the other hand, more of the American public, politicians and military now know that the American government is run by mafia gangsters. That is an important change since 2002."
We order salmon served with a sauce of honey and heather.

At Zygi, in 1998, the arrest took place of two agents of Israel's Mossad.
According to Machi newspaper, the Mossad spy ring included Cypriots and fed information about Cypriot weapons systems and installations to Mossad and Britain's MI6.

THERE IS ONE POTENTIALLY MAJOR BOMBSHELL, claims have emerged that these Iranian munitions consisted of depleted uranium.
If the stories are legitimate perhaps they could explain why the weapons were stored for so long and not destroyed.

We assume that the USA and its allies have long had plans to bomb Syrian schools and hospitals.

Syrian state TV broadcast these images of chemical weapons seized from rebel hideouts in the Jobar neighborhood of Damascus.
